Less than 45 days to go…
Friday, April 27th, 2007We are getting closer and closer to the rumored launch date of June 11th, where Steve Jobs and Apple Inc. will start shipping the new Apple iPhone. Apples stock has continued to pick up as we the big day gets closer.
DailyTech news reported that Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer said: “We look forward to shipping the iPhone in late June and are very excited.”
This is a clear sign Apple is still on track for the June launch date, and we shouldn’t expect any delays. This is welcomed news after the large delay of Apple’s new operating system; Leopard (OS 10.5).
The Apple iPhone will be priced at $499 for the 4GB model and $599 for the 8GB model, with both machines coming with a two year Cingular Wireless contract in the US.
